Fantastic food and a nice diverse selection. You won't leave hungry. Being some cash for the salsa cart lady: she preps up fresh guacamole and even the salsa right at your table side. Fantastic enchiladas too!

We will not be going back. My wife and I decided to take our date night back to La Quinta last night. We have been coming here off and on for the last 8 years and have had great meals and mediocre ones. I ordered the Birria (goat) and my wife the shrimp fajitas. What a waste. The goat was so under seasoned it boarders on bland and I asked the waiter (who was awesome) to bring som mole so at least it would have flavor. The fajitas were just a mess. A soup of over cooked vegetables saturated with oil with about 8 shrimp tossed on top.
To top it all off there was a couple in the bar area that was graphically making out and groping under and down clothing.
I brought both these situations to the attention of the manager (owner?!?!?) who only responded "I already talked to them once." While he sat and ate his dinner 4 seats from them.
So, GREAT server, bland food, and a manager that doesn't care at all other than to eat food that looked better than what was served to guests means they lost our business. But at least they make up for all this with some of the highest prices in the area... -

Overall, this was a borderline "ok"restaurant. The positives:
* 1/2 priced Margaritas on Wednesday. These were pretty good
* Guac and salsa made tableside. Salsa is included and guac was $4.00
* Staff was attentive and polite
The downside, unfortunately, is their food. Simply put it isn't very good.
* The tortillas were ok, but didn't seem to be Fresh
* The chicken was bland without much taste
* The rice was very dry.
Overall, it was simply"OK". With so many other options we will not be returning. -

Amazing! Will be back, went right before a show at the Paramount and everything was out so quick and looked/tasted incredible!

The food is really good but on the pricier side. It is a really cool atmosphere with the mariachi band playing, homemade salsa and guacamole at your table. Since it has the great atmosphere and right downtown, it makes the slightly more expensive food worth it. We usually go at least once a year for someone's bday. Always nice having a mariachi band singing happy birthday!
